Personal Background:
Born in Regina, early childhood in Winnipeg, grew up on a beef farm in Oxdrift, married for 43 years to Louise; a Dryden girl, raised family at home on Kellar Road, 4 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren....all wonderful of course!

Education:
Graduated from Glengoland, a 1 room rural school near Oxdrift, Dryden High School, and University of Manitoba as Mechanical Engineer. Numerous technical and management programs and courses over the years.

Business/Professional History:
Successful career in engineering at Dryden Paper over sixteen years, moved on to serve as Dryden town engineer for 22 years, during which time we built or extensively rebuilt all the town's buildings, and went from dirt roads to urban pavement. Operated several small businesses as a part-time interest over the years.

Public and Community Service:
Served my community in Jaycees as a young man and in Rotary in later years, served as president of each, along with voluntary service on various town committees. Founding member of Dryden Historical Society, and served several farm organizations. Wife Louise served as school volunteer and in Girl Guides for many years.

Hobbies and Interests:
Keen (but utterly incompetent) curler; outdoorsman; part-time farmer specializing in growing veggies for the farmers market.
