The years before six are the most influential to a child's development. How we care for our children during the first six years sets the stage for their life long learning, behaviour and health. The Best Start Hub will help support you in your important role of ensuring your child gets the best possible start in life. We serve as a gateway for information on child development and available programs and services for your family. Our goal is to integrate all community supports so they are working together to provide a seamless system of services.

- Where parents can seek answers to their questions.
-Where parents can connect with other parents.

Drop in during regular hours, or register for a scheduled program. Our self serve lending service offers a variety of parent books, children's books, toys and equipment. Hub staff can help you:

- Prepare your child for school.
- Get ready to be a parent if you are going to have a baby.
- Learn new parenting skills.
- Offer information about, and link you to other community programs.
- Help arrange visits at the Hub with staff from community programs
