Emergency Planning
The aim of the City of Dryden Emergency Plan is to make provisions for the extraordinary arrangements and measures that may have to be taken to safeguard the safety and property of individuals exposed to an emergency situation. The Fire Chief is also the Emergency Planning Co-ordinator, he is responsible for preparing and updating the City’s Emergency Plan.
3 day emergency Survival Checklist (per person)
- Flashlight and batteries - Radio and batteries or crank radio - Spare batteries (for radio or flashlight) - First-aid kit - Candles and matches/lighter - Extra car keys and cash - Important papers (identification) - Food and bottled water - Clothing and footwear - Blankets or sleeping bags - Toilet paper and other personal items - Medication - Backpack/duffel bag (to hold all of the emergency survival kit items) - Whistle (to attract attention, if needed) - Playing cards, games
