Our Volunteers

In 2008, 94 volunteers contributed 1,467 hours towards such things as the
Heritage Walkway, garden care, cookie bakers, shelving construction,
exhibition assistance, decorating, preservation packing, garage sale
fundraiser, editing and the 2010 Book Committee.

Projectile Collection

Samples of the some of the projectiles in our collection. Here is what Archaeologist, Dayle A. Elder stated about our collection " Aside from the quality and quantity of the projectile points in your collection, the diversity in types and date range is equally as impressive. From the limited sample that we photographed in June, the collection comprises projectiles points ranging from ca. 9000 BC to 1500 AD, encompassing almost the entire scope of Pre-Contact First Nation settlement in the region".

Permanent and Temporary Exhibits

The museum features six permanent galleries on the upper
level, that are changed periodically. The upper level features
a Farming Section, General Store, Pioneer Kitchen, 50s
Kitchen, 1910 Bedroom, 1940s Living Room, Toy Case and Local Promotional Advertising.
