Community Transportation Pilot Project

In April 2015, the City was advised that their application to the Ministry of Transportation’s new Community Transportation Pilot Project Program was successful and $100,000 would be granted over a 2-year period to work with local organizations to improve community transportation services for seniors, persons living with disabilities, youth, and other members of the community who need transportation.  Project partners identified in the funding application included; The Dryden Native Friendship Centre, Patricia Region Seniors Services, Dryden Regional Health Centre, and the Kenora District Services Board.
