Mayor’s Statement on the passing of former Chief of Police Doug Palson
DRYDEN, ON – January 9, 2025
Yesterday, Dryden City Council was notified of the sudden and tragic passing of our former Police Chief Doug Palson. Chief Palson was a distinguished leader and a community member who served the residents of Dryden for over 6 years.
The City of Dryden will lower our flags in honour of his life and service to our community.
On behalf of Dryden City Council and all our residents he served, I extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues during this extremely difficult time.
