James is a teacher here in Dryden with the Keewatin Patricia District School Board and a firefighter with the City of Dryden Fire Service. James' dedication to our community is incredibly strong and his love for Northwestern Ontario, and the lifestyle it has afforded him and his family here in Dryden, is unmatched. Thank you James, for your commitment and service to our community, both in the classroom at Dryden High School, and as a leader and mentor to many with DFS.

Cheryl Edwards is the Executive Director of Dryden Native Friendship Centre (DNFC). Cheryl and her team at DNFC work tirelessly towards fostering inclusivity, cultural richness, and a brighter future for all residents here in Dryden. There is so much love and respect for the work Cheryl has done and continues to do to break barriers and build a greater sense of community here in Dryden. Words can’t begin to explain just how important Cheryl is to our community and our future. We continue to learn so much from Cheryl, and we can’t thank her enough for sharing her stories, wisdom, and knowledge with all of us. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Cheryl’s family and friends for sharing her with us, Dryden is forever grateful.
