There are a number of transportation services available in the City of Dryden for seniors. Community transportation in the area includes services for seniors, youth, low-income earners and people who have disabilities or accessibility issues.

MyLift Van Service

Overview

The MyLift accessible van service is for anyone who is physically unable to use regular city transportation, including seniors, youth and people with lower incomes. The bus has a wheelchair lift and can hold up to three wheelchairs or eight walking passengers. MyLift offers door-to-door service. It also offers service between senior housing to specified stores and service locations.

One-way fare is $3.00 per passenger. There is no cost for an attendant to travel to provide assistance to a client.

Registration

You must be registered and approved to use this service.  Please click on the form link, complete it online and submit a registration form via email. Please include your mailing address. Paper copies are also available upon request.

Booking information

MyLift Transportation Service is available from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. unless closed for statutory holidays or maintenance. A notice will be issued as applicable.

Call 807-223-3568 between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to book a ride or to ask for additional information. Rides can be booked up to fourteen (14) days before the scheduled trip but each rider must book at least 24 hours before your pickup time. Ride requests within 24 hours will be accommodated as space permits. Medical or employment rides are given priority when booking.

After hours or special trip bookings are available. Call for more information.

Using MyLift

Riders need to be at accessible pickup points when the van is scheduled to arrive. For safety reasons, drivers cannot move wheelchairs up or down stairs or unsafe ramps. The van can only wait five minutes past your pickup time. If the van is more than 10 minutes past your pickup time, please call 807-223-3568.
