There are a number of transportation services available in the City of Dryden for seniors. Community transportation in the area includes services for seniors, youth, low-income earners and people who have disabilities or accessibility issues.

Transit service at your fingertips!City of Dryden is now offering more ways to book your on-demand transit ride. You can: 1. self serve using the rider app (launches March 14) download "On-Demand Transit: Rider App" available through App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

The MyLift accessible van service is for anyone who is physically unable to use regular city transportation, as well as seniors, youth and low-income persons. The vehicle has a wheelchair lift and can hold up to two wheelchairs or eight walking passengers. MyLift offers door-to-door service. It also offers service between senior housing to specified stores and service locations. One-way fare is $3.00 per passenger. There is no cost to attendants that are needed for travel. To register as a rider, you can click on the form link to apply on-line or call and request a copy be mailed or emailed. Here is the form link: MyLift Transit Registration Form Booking informationAccessible transportation service is available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Call 807-223-3568 between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm to book a service. Riders must book in advance because space is limited. Rides can be booked in advance but must book at least 24 hours before your pickup is required. When you book your trip, you will be given your total cost. Exact fare is appreciated as drivers carry limited change. There are no account charges unless it is pre-arranged. After hours, special event, or weekend vehicle rental are available. Call for more information. Using MyLiftRiders need to be at accessible pickup points when the bus is scheduled to arrive. For safety reasons, drivers cannot move wheelchairs up or down stairs or unsafe ramps. Passengers who are not able to care for themselves and who travel without an attendant must be met by someone at their stop. |
