Merlin Bird ID is a tool to help you identify all kinds of birds using sound and photo identification. The Laura Howe Marsh is one area that you can find a wide variety of bird species. Dryden also has a number of community hiking trails available for you to enjoy. These trails are a great place to stretch your legs and enjoy the outdoors. Egli's Sheep Farm and Animal Park |
Egli's Sheep Farm is one of Canada's largest wool and sheepskin shops, and has a manufacturing facility right on the farm. Geocaching adventures |
A new and popular activity, geocaching is an outdoor treasure-hunting game where participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS), or other navigation tool to hide and seek "geocaches" (or containers). See our geocache map to participate in Dryden. |
Path of the Paddle |
The Path of the Paddle Association is a non-profit organization working to finish the Trans Canada Trail water route. The canoe and kayak trail spans 1,200km from the Great Lakes to the edge of the prairies, and you can find two connected trails in Dryden - Maukinak and Migizi.
