The Power of Water: Hydroelectricity Exhibition Opening
Wednesday November 16th, 5pm - 7pm (Dryden & District Museum)
On November 16th the Dryden & District Museum opened The Power of Water: Hydroelectricity. Viewers were able to discover the power of water by learning how natural water is has been transformed into power through the use of water wheels, dams, turbines, and generators. And, explore the introduction of hydroelectricity to Dryden and the impacts it had on Northwestern Ontario.

Small advent calendar houses were made with participants putting in their own items. These calendars were to be taken home and opened leading up to the holidays.
Just Breathe...The Dryden Artist Association annual exhibit opening

In September 2022 the Dryden & District Museum hosted the exhibition opening for Just Breathe... An exhibition designed with, and featuring the art of, the Dryden Artists Association. This event brought a sense of calm and relaxation through the art, musicc by Jordin Laine and the subsequent events hosted.
Spirit Walk in Partnership with the Dryden & District Museum, Dryden Fall Fest, and the Dryden Genealogical Society
Thursday October 6th, 6:00pm (Dryden Cemetery)
On Thursday October 6th, community members gathered at the Dryden Cemetery to hear stories about Dryden's past by tracing the lives of people who lived here. Stories told were those of early pioneer life. For similar events reach out to the Genealogical Society who provided our tour stories.
Haunted House at the Dryden & District Museum
Saturday October 29th, 4:00pm-7:00pm (Dryden & District Museum)
On Saturday October 29th, 475 people came to the museum to get spooked! Youth, adults, and families stopped by to play games, walk through the scary museum, and get their photo taken. The Trunk or Treat event hosted by Fall Fest occurred on the same day making for a spectacular halloween weekend for the kiddos.
Drawing Tattoo Stencils Workshop with Ami Klatt
Ami Klatt, owner of The Coven Tattoo Parlour in Dryden, hosted a workshop where participants learned the process of drawing a tattoo stencil, transferring it on to transfer paper, and placing it on their body. This workshop gave insight into the behind the scenes work of tattooing and helped visitors reflect on the My Story, My Tattoo exhibit.

Ami Klatt, owner of the Coven Tattoo Parlour in Dryden, shared her knowledge in a public interview open to the public.
My Story, My Tattoo Public Exhibit Opening
The Dryden & District Museum formally opened the My Story, My Tattoo exhibit from the Wellington County Museum & Archives alongside Billy and Monica, owners of the Soulless Tattoo Studio in Dryden.
