The MyLift accessible van service is for seniors, youth and low-income persons, or riders that have mobility issues. The vehicle has a wheelchair ramp and can hold six+ passengers. MyLift offers door-to-door service. It also offers service between senior housing to specified stores and service locations. One-way fare is $3.20 per passenger. There is no cost to attendants that are needed for travel. Accessible transportation service is available from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Call 807-223-3568 between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to book a service. Riders must book in advance because space is limited. For all medical appointments, please book as far in advance as possible. For all other rides, bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance, however, space is limited so the earlier you book the better chance you have at getting a ride. Rides are first come, first serve. When you book your trip, you will be given your total cost. Exact fare is appreciated as drivers carry limited change. There are no account charges unless it is pre-arranged. Bus passes are available for purchase at City Hall, Community Services Office and the Pool & Fitness Centre Front Desk. Passes are $32.00 for 10 rides. Riders are given a physical pass that the drivers will require to see when getting on the bus.
