| On 84 Whyte Avenue, as part of the Dryden Recreation Complex, the Pool and Fitness Centre is located on the south side of the building. Parking is available in the lot on the south side of the building and on both sides of Whyte Avenue. |
| General Rules and Regulations |
| Safety is our #1 priority. The Dryden Pool and Fitness Centre has rules, regulations, and guidelines in place to provide a safe and enjoyable experience to all our visitors.
- All children must be at least 6 years old to visit the facility on their own and the only place they can go is the basketball court
- Special age requirements are in place for the cardio and weight room and they can be found on the Fitness Centre page
- Visitors 5 years and younger must be accompanied by a responsible person who is at least 14 years of age
- The Pool Admission Policy provides information regarding entering the pool for various age groups
- Supervision of children is required throughout the facility at all times

| Change rooms |
| By the time children are 6 years old, they must use the gender specific change room. In cases where assistance is needed from a parent/caregiver/worker, we provide an "occupied" sign that may be attached to the upstairs washroom doors. These washrooms temporarily serve as Family Change Rooms. You may access the pool by the mezzanine. Showers are located in the steam room. There are a limited number of lockers available in each change room. You may bring your own lock and remove it before you leave or rent a lock at the Front Desk. The facility is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. It is recommended that you leave valuable items at home. |

| Birthday pool parties |
| You may book a birthday pool party during a public fun swim! You must pay the base fee at the time of booking. The cost for residents is only $52 plus tax for up to 10 swimmers. Non-residents pay $64.50, plus tax. This package includes:
- 1.5 hours of swimming
- Use of the Activity Room or Multi-Purpose Room for 1 hour before or after your scheduled pool time (setup and cleanup is the renter's responsibility)
Want to invite more than 10 guests? The fee for additional swimmers is $4.75 per person, to be paid on the day of the event. The following time slots are available for pool parties:
- Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Saturday, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Sunday, 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

| The Dryden Pool and Fitness Centre employs about 30 people who have received various levels of training in many different areas within our operation.
| Lifeguards |

| Swimming Instructors |

| Facility Attendants |
| Our facility attendants meet, greet, and admit our valued customers in a friendly and helpful manner. They take care of all the administrative tasks. Attendants are trained in First Aid and emergency procedures, allowing them to provide lifeguards with extra help in emergency situations. |
| Waterslide Attendants |
| Safety and the prevention of injuries is one of our most important goals. According to Technical Standards Safety Act, the waterslide cannot operate unless an attendant is at the entrance to the slide on top of the staircase and a lifeguard is at the bottom of the slide. Attendants enforce all required regulations and visitors must follow these regulations. |
