Construction Notice - First St August 6

Please be advised, repairs to the water distribution system will be taking place on First St, west of Highway 17 (Grand Trunk Ave) on Thursday August 6, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As a result, one lane will be open to traffic. Please use extra caution within the construction zone.  To ensure the construction zone remains safe, please anticipate temporary delays and construction workers.

Within this time, residents in the area may not have drinking water available. Although work is expected to be completed in a timely manner, we recommend storing a short-term water supply in advance to ensure availability during the shut-off.
