Construction Notice - Grand Trunk Ave July 21

Please be advised, repairs to the water distribution system will be taking place in the eastbound lane on Highway 17 (Grand Trunk Ave) between Third St and Wice Rd on Tuesday July 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As a result, the highway will remain open to both lanes of traffic, with the eastbound traffic utilizing the center turning lane around the construction area. Please use extra caution within the construction zone.  To ensure the construction zone remains safe, please anticipate temporary delays and construction workers.

Within this time, residents in the area may not have drinking water available. Although work is expected to be completed in a timely manner, we recommend storing a short-term water supply in advance to ensure availability during the shut-off.
