Due to extreme fire hazard and increased wildfire activity, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry declared a Restricted Fire Zone for our region on July 15. As a result, the Dryden Fire Service has issued a TOTAL FIRE BAN within the municipal boundaries that took effect immediately. All burn permits are suspended until further notice.

Please be advised, the Duke St Overpass will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Wednesday August 12, 2026, from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. This closure is necessary to complete bridge inspections.
