Duke St Reconstruction to begin in June

Please be advised that reconstruction work on Duke Street between Casimir Avenue and Earl Avenue is scheduled to begin June 1 and is anticipated to be completed by November 30. This project was made possible by the Government of Ontario and involves significant infrastructure upgrades to improve the condition, safety, and functionality of the roadway and surrounding area.

Work will include but is not limited to:.

• Remove and replace entire asphalt roadway (full depth).

• Remove and Replace storm sewer, catch basins, catch basin leads & catch basin manholes

• Remove and Replace concrete curb and gutter and sidewalks

• Reconstruct disturbed driveway approaches, walkways, etc.

• Reconstruct all surface features disturbed during construction.

Residents and motorists can expect delays in the area throughout the project timeline. We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as this important reconstruction work is completed.
