National Day for Truth and Reconciliation & Orange Shirt Day

Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Join us this afternoon at the Pow Wow in Cooper Park at 1:00pm alongside Dryden Native Friendship Centre and Grand Council Treaty #3 to honour the Survivors of the residential school system and the children who did not make it home, as well as their families and communities.
Today we commemorate and reflect on the historical and ongoing impacts of residential schools. As every child matters, so does every effort we make to support truth and reconciliation. #NDTR
