National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

September 30th is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. It is a time to honour the Survivors of the residential school system, the children who did not make it home, as well as their families and communities. Today we commemorate and reflect on the historical and ongoing impacts of residential schools. Here are 3 ways to observe the day:

1.Be informed on indigenous history and the residential school system

3. Wear an orange shirt
