Notice of Passing - Temporary Use Zoning By-law

TAKE NOTICE THAT the Council of the Corporation of the City of Dryden passed By-law 2026-57 to amend Zoning By-law 2025-10, as amended, on the 10th day of August, 2026, under Section 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, c. P.13, as amended. Under Section 39 of the Planning Act, the Council of a local municipality may, through a by-law, authorize the temporary use of land, buildings, or structures for any purpose set out therein that is otherwise prohibited by the Zoning By-law.

Explanatory Note of By-law:

By-law 2026-57 amends Zoning By-law 2025-10 and applies to those lands known municipally as 233 Grand Trunk Avenue legally described as CON 6 PT LOT 4 DES AS; 23R7825 PARTS 1 TO 5 REM PCL; 32765, City of Dryden. The proposed Temporary Use By-law is to permit a site-specific parking lot and outdoor storage use and permission for compacted crushed stone or gravel to surface the parking lot rather than asphalt, concrete or a similar hard-surfaced material. The Temporary Use By-law would permit the above for a period of up to three (3) years.
