Due to extreme fire hazard and increased wildfire activity, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry declared a Restricted Fire Zone for our region on July 15. As a result, the Dryden Fire Service has issued a TOTAL FIRE BAN within the municipal boundaries that took effect immediately. All burn permits are suspended until further notice.

Wabigoon River Bridge Closure - August 13

Please be advised, the Wabigoon River Bridge (Duke St) will be closed to vehicular traffic on Thursday August 13, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A detour will be in place; please follow posted signage for an alternate route. This closure is necessary to complete bridge inspections.
