Business Licences and Permits

Note: Home-based businesses or industries (as defined by the City of Dryden Zoning By-law) solely operated upon a residential property with a primary residential use where the business owner resides are not required to obtain a business licence.

However, provisions of the City of Dryden Zoning By-law apply to these business types with respect to outdoor storage, signage/advertising, and how the property is used to ensure the residential nature of the property is maintained.

Businesses that have a home-based office but conduct their operations elsewhere (i.e general contractors, plumbing/HVAC, landscaping services, etc...) must obtain a licence.

It is important that you confirm if any licencing requirements are applicable to your business and that the information contained within your application is complete and correct before submitting your licence application, as application fees are non-refundable.
