About Tax Sales
If municipal property taxes are unpaid for a period of time, the Municipal Tax Sales Act provides for the sale of a property.
Tax Sale Process:
- Before the tax sale occurs, the property owner is given a period of time to pay their property taxes.
- If they do not pay within the specified time period, then the City of Dryden initiates a tax sale on the property. This applies to all classes of property within the City of Dryden limits.
- When properties are posted here, tenders are invited for the purchase of the lands described below and will be received until the specified time.
- Tenders will then be opened in public on the same day as soon as possible after 3:00 p.m. at the City of Dryden, City Hall, 30 Van Horne Avenue, Dryden.
To view tax sale properties, click the link below. Tender packages are available for pickup at City Hall. Tender packages must be submitted to City Hall by 3:00 pm May 28, 2026.
