Programming & Events

The Dryden Public Library, located at 36 Van Horne Avenue, has been serving the community since 1925 and continues to be a hub for learning, creativity, and connection. In addition to providing access to books and digital resources, the library hosts a wide range of programs and events for all ages. Popular offerings include summer reading programs with free books, challenges, and prize draws, as well as children’s activities such as story times, craft days, STEM-based experiments, and LEGO building challenges. Families can also enjoy take-and-make kits, outdoor “Explore Challenges,” and special contests like art competitions. Throughout the year, the library welcomes guest speakers, author readings, and writing workshops, creating opportunities for lifelong learning and community engagement in an inviting and inclusive space.
